September 2019 Founders’ Dinner

The Friends of Ronald Reagan Gathered for its Annual Fall Founders' Dinner on September 10, 2019 at the California Club. FORR welcomed back Dr. Stephen F. Hayward for a Fireside Chat addressing American Politics at the State, National, and International levels.

 

Dr. Stephen F. Hayward

Steven F. Hayward is the Senior Resident Scholar at U.C. Berkley’s Institute of Governmental Studies. He is also the Thomas Smith Distinguished Fellow at the John M. Ashbrook Center at Ashland University, where he directs the Center’s program in political economy. A well-known Ronald Reagan scholar, he has authored several books on Reagan, including the two-volume history of Ronald Reagan and his effect on American political life: The Age of Reagan: The Fall of the Old Liberal Order, 1964-1980 and The Age of Reagan: The Conservative Counter-Revolution, 1980-1989. Dr. Hayward frequently contributes to the National Review, The Weekly Standard, and the Claremont Review of Books on a range of topics, including environmentalism, law, economics, and public policy. His articles also appear in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, San Francisco Chronicle, Chicago Tribune and dozens of other local newspapers.
